Stewart Dauman, VERCOR Managing Director, brings a wealth of experience in the world of finance. He has worked with numerous startups throughout his career. He most recently was a co-owner of an investment firm, which invested in a wide range of financial markets, including consumer receivables, real estate, small finance companies, venture capital, and energy related investments.

Prior to starting his own firm, he was a managing director at Credit Suisse First Boston and co-head of the worldwide Real Estate Products Group. The real estate group was responsible for providing a full range of services including debt financing, equity investments and investment banking services. While at Credit Suisse First Boston, his department originated $25 billion in debt and equity products.

Stewart was also a managing director responsible for mortgage, consumer, commercial and distressed debt operations at Daiwa Securities America. He was one of the founding members of the group and was the first to structure non-conforming consumer loans into rated securities, establishing a new and highly profitable trend in the industry. Preceding his time at Daiwa, he spent nine years at Lehman Brothers, helping to develop the firm’s residential and consumer business.

Mr. Dauman received his B.A. in finance and marketing from Boston University and his M.B.A. in finance from Pace University.
