Gary Ringel, VERCOR Managing Director, joined the VERCOR team in 2005. Mr. Ringel is the founder and director of Arizona’s largest business valuation and real estate appraisal firm, through which he developed an extensive network of contacts in the real estate, legal, financial, and professional services community. He is a state certified commercial real estate appraiser, licensed real estate agent, and candidate for membership in the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). Over the last 35 years, Mr. Ringel has appraised and sold hundreds of real estate properties, including vacant land, retail, office, industrial, apartments, medical, hospitality, auto dealerships, and special purpose facilities.

For 25 years Mr. Ringel acted in the capacity of CEO, CFO, and director of real estate for his family-owned chain of drug stores and gift shops, which were subsequently sold to Perry Drugs, a public company, and Hallmark Cards, Inc. He has also valued over a thousand equity interests in companies and partnerships that own real property.

Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1972, Mr. Ringel has volunteered his time to numerous professional and advisory boards such as the Arizona Community Foundation, Banner Health, Jewish Community Foundation, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix. He is a also a member of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Counsel and Valley Estate Planners and has presented speeches to the State Bar of Arizona, Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, Arizona State University Annual Executive Forum, Arizona Community Foundation, National Institute of Pension Administrators, Western Pension and Benefits Conference, and Prescott Estate Planning Council.
